Advising Council Fellows Program Launches
In partnership with the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Advising Council is launching a new program offering advisors the opportunity to develop their expertise in advising program evaluation and assessment. Facilitated by professional advisors and assessment specialists, the Advising Council Fellows Program will be open to six to eight staff advisors in undergraduate advising units who want to  examine their program's effectiveness, with the overall goal of improving student learning and development. Fellows will gather monthly for a seminar to discuss assessment best practices, gain strategies and sample tools, and generate an assessment plan for their own unit.
