This Carcerality and Advising Panel serves as an introductory conversation on the connections between carceral logics (how the institutions of prisons and practices of imprisonment inform our daily lives, work, and relationships) and advising at the university. This panel will offer reflections from staff on-campus who are collaboratively imagining interventions to the status quo while conversations about abolition continue to grow throughout our communities.
