Berkeley Peer Support Network

Welcome to the Berkeley Peer Support Network, a new student peer advising resource under Berkeley’s Advising Strategy + Training Program (BPSN, formerly Berkeley Peer Advising Network)! Our network is designed to provide support, guidance, and resources to current Peer Support Supervisors who may be looking for support or for those who may be looking to start a new Peer Support service at UC Berkeley.

We believe in the power of peer support and recognize that sometimes it's easier to talk to someone who has gone through similar experiences. That's why we've built this network to support this valuable advising model on campus. At the Berkeley Peer Support Network, we are committed to fostering a culture of care and mutual support among our student community. We are excited to welcome you to our network and look forward to supporting you on your journey.

In the future we have plans to also provide support and resources to “peers” themselves. Peer programs can be defined as peer advisors, ambassadors, mentors, counselors, etc. and also can serve a variety of student populations, such as undergraduates, graduate students, visiting students, and prospective students. If you have any questions or to reach out, please email us at bpsn@berkeley.edu.
