Cultural Peer Mentors (CPMs) are Cal students interested in building cross-cultural understanding and providing support to visiting international students in the Berkeley International Study Program (BISP). CPMs plan events with the intent of creating community among BISP students. CPMs also provide guidance and serve as a resource for all things UC Berkeley, the city of Berkeley, the Bay Area, and beyond.
The Peer Advising Leadership (PAL) Program of Rausser College strives to offer personal insights and experiences to current & prospective RCNR students. Our PALs are trained in understanding & communicating our Major requirements, College policies, research opportunities, and more! The goal of these students is to offer peer advising to everyone - ranging from a first-semester Berkeley freshman to a last-semester senior!
Engineering Student Services (ESS) peer advisors are current students that provide general information to undergraduates about engineering requirements, procedures, resources, student organizations/opportunities, and student life. They meet with prospective students and lead workshops throughout each semester. Peer advisors are also available to meet with students wanting to change into the College of Engineering and can review the Change of College process.
