PREREQUISITE: You must watch this 1 hour 15 minute recording before attending the discussion-based workshop.
The required video overview will help you to learn the basic skills necessary to provide common sense support after a tragedy, such as a student death or political trauma. The recording will also address CAPS response and how faculty and staff can collaborate with the Tang Center and other campus supports. This discussion session on April 6 is offered as a way to help increase the support campus provides in the aftermath of a tragedy and help the community begin to heal. The discussion section will be a mix of small group discussion and question/Answers.
