Tuesday, October 22 & Tuesday, October 29 | 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. (Hybrid) | RSVP to Attend
What are moments when students experience lasting change? When and how are these moments cultivated outside of a traditional classroom context? In this two-part interactive workshop, you will explore strategies for enhancing learning moments - including guest lectures, workshops, tutoring, and student engagement events - with the goal of leaving students with a lasting reflection, idea, or lesson learned.
Your workshop facilitators will guide you through a process of examining key elements of your learning experience, including your learning goals, opportunities for feedback, and structured learning activities. In part two, you will be in conversation with a community of your peers to consider the role of equity in your design process and how to respond when learning experiences do not go as planned, despite our best efforts.
RSVP to join us on campus in Dwinelle Hall, or virtually via Zoom! Please note that in-person space is limited, and in-person spaces will be prioritized for attendees who can commit to attending both sessions.
